Things change so much all the time. Four years ago was completely different than three years ago which was completely different than two years ago which was completely different than one year ago which is completely different than now. It's crazy that I have been living in Spain for six months. Where has the time gone? When I went back to Athens I was like, wow things are so different, how did that happen? Oh yeah, it's been six months since I left...
Maybe I'm not making sense and I'm just rambling, but that's what livejournal is for so moving right along.
This weekend I'm going to Valencia, in the south of Spain, for a festival called Las Fallas. They build a bunch of wooden constructions the months leading up to the festival and then they burn them all to the ground. And there are lots of fireworks and pyrotechnics. It should be a lot of fun. Why do they have this festival? Nobody knows, but I think it's just because Spaniards like to party.
Then in three weeks I'm going to Ireland with my best friend. FUN!! Traveling is one of the best things in life I think.
So it turns out that when you actually throw water ON the people in street, they don't take it as lightly. For the record, they started it because their friend threw beer on me. But they started buzzing our flat saying they were going to "burn our fucking house down." I have to admit I kind of believed them...

I like how you guys didn't call me out on the fact that I said I was witty. I was joking, but now I just seem narcissistic. Okay, so I'm narcissistic.
Yeah hangover city right now. I had a meeting/class this morning for my program and it started at 10. But since I went out last night, didn't go to sleep until 5:30 and was trashed, I slept through my alarm. I woke up suddenly and through my window saw a lot of sun, so I knew it wasn't 9am when I was supposed to wake up. Yes, it was 11. I was two hours late to the class because it is 40 min away by metro. I thought about taking a taxi, but what a waste of money. Today I really missed having a car.
But yes, calimocho is a dangerous thing for me, especially because I always drink too much of it. But it makes me absolutely crazy. I'm absolutely crazy in Spain. Mostly in an interesting and funny way, that means I always have some crazy story to tell. Like when we called the cops on the guys doing cocaine in our street (well it was because they were screaming actually) and the dispatcher woman was like, "So you can't sleep, or what?" Hahha. Or last weekend when I threw water at the guys partying in our street. It's all in good fun though, and they love it. If you are a girl, especially a foreign girl, in this you can get away with pretty much anything.
It's been five months since I've been in the United States, but next Friday I will be home for a week. Looking forward to it!!

I haven't written in my livejournal in FOREVER, but I still read a few people's entries. Speaking of which, I was just reading through some of my old ones, and I didn't realize I was so witty and ridiculous. Or at least I had forgotten. It's Valentine's Day, but fortunately they don't really celebrate that here in Spain. I totally support non-celebration, not because I'm technically single, but because it's a completely commercialized holiday that says guys should do something nice for their girlfriends once a year. Hey, if he isn't nice all the time, then DUMP HIM! On the note of love, I got the cheesiest text message ever from this Moldovan guy that I've been hanging out with lately. It was in Spanish, but the translation is, "If you had a rose for everytime I thought about you, then you would always be walking by a flower garden." Ummm, what??! I'm American, you can't say ridiculous things like that to me. Even if you are being sincere.
I put myself out there today, for the first time in a long time. And now I'm freaking out because I don't think things are going to go the way I want them too. It's better to know now though then keep waiting for it, right?!

Until it gave me entirely too much time to sit around and think about the last thing on earth that I want to think about.
So if anyone wants to hang out or do something then give me a call because I want to be occupied all the time.
Charleston was fun. Mexico was amazing. I love my best friend. I love my family. I'm going out of town for two weeks again next Tuesday. See me before then.

Cinco de mayo was a success. It included TWO OC's, margaritas, Firehouse, long islands, that cider stuff, dancing onstage at the GA theatre, Room 13. FUN!
Tonight I am bouncing. Chi House flash back,then Krush girls, then barn party.
Someone said something about the Ultra Mod, but I think I have to pass on that.
Two finals left, both on Monday, one which is totally going to kick my ass.
Then Baltimore (Philadelphia, DC, Delaware, Jonathan) for a week. LADIES BEFORE FADIES ROADTRIP!! WOOOO!

And I love it. I've been so busy with school and work and going out and spending time with my boy that I have barely had time to breathe. And I don't mind at all. Although writing papers and doing projects isn't necessarily my idea of fun, it's kind of nice not having a lot of down time.
That being said, I don't really want to write the papers I have left, or study for my finals, but I believe I will manage. But it does stress me out a tad.
This weekend was amazing. Saturday night was incredibly ridiculous and intense and such a good time. I wish all my nights were that good.
Today marks the first gathering of a new project, which I will reveal nothing about, except that you need to look out for DUH. Ok that's all.

My new cell phone month has begun, so call and text at will, unless the texts are pointless then please don't.
I'm currently at the SLC trying to write an 8 page paper that's due tomorrow. I'm hoping to get done before late so that I can go dancing. What's new? Haha.
I'm currently seeing someone who is amazing to me and makes me happy. Hopefully that will last for a little while.
I AM UNDER THE IMPRESSION THAT THERE IS A DANCE PARTY (80'S DANCE PARTY??) AT LITTLE KING'S TONIGHT. ANYONE INTERESTED?
I'm only going if I finish my paper, but I'm about to be on page 6 so I'm chugging right along.

My phone is low on minutes and probably out of text messages. This does not mean that you may not call me or text me. It just means don't call me before 9 to just chat. If you are just calling to hear my wonderful voice, but with no purpose then wait until 9, until further notice.
Also, please don't just text me with random trivia or whatnot. I think I'm waaaay over my limit. So if it is important then text me. If it is after 9 then call me. Because honestly my parents are going to flip when they get the phone bill.
